CELEBRATING MOMMIES BIRTHDAY

Well guess what we got to do today! It was Mommies birthday today, and of course she had a little birthday party that Daddy planned, and I was invited .
Auntie Heather came to the party

And of course my favorite cousin Sam was there too. I really like him, especially when he makes faces at me.  I am trying to make them back at him too. Pretty funny
Mommy knows  that I am going to need some practice because it is my FIRST BIRTHDAY SOON, so I got to help her look at all of her birthday cards
I was right there to help her make a birthday wish and blow out her candles.  I was a big help

I also got to help her open up her presents, and as you can see, it only too, a moment to figure out how to do that! The first thing you know, it will be my birthday, but meanwhile, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MOMMY

MY FIRST APPEARANCE AS A BUMBLE BEE ON HALLOWEEN

Quite awhile ago, grammy got an idea that since Halloween was coming soon, I was going to be needing a new outfit for HALLOWEEN, so grammy got one that has been just hanging in the closet waiting for the right time. Well now it is nearly Halloween, and Grammy knows of a place that is very special in the fall season, so mommy, daddy, and grammy all piled me in to the car for a fun day at the Pumpkin Village in Dallas

I had never seen all of these amazing and different colored pumpkins and was very interested in seeing what they were like, but

The first thing you know, mommy and daddy were busy taking me out of my regular clothes and putting on my new BUMBLE BEE outfit. As you can see, it even has wings and a magic want.

I can tell you there were lots of people there, but everyone kept saying " OH LOOK AT THAT CUTE LITTLE BUMBLE BEE"

Of course you can see that that was me all along
Don't I look just too cute with all of those beautiful pumpkins surrounding me

It was total cuteness!!!!

Mommy and Daddy saw an old time covered wagon, and we got up in it to see what it was like for the pioneers. Bet none of them had bumble bee outfits!!

What a fun time we had at the Pumpkin village!
There was even a royal horse and carriage like a real princess rides in, so we got to try that out too
This is one proud DADDY

Before you knew it though, it was time to get back on my "regular clothes" and have a snack. You can see from my smile that I thought that was a good idea!

Lots of fun at the PUMPKIN PATCH!!

MY FIRST NEW SHOES

WELL  when it got down to 60 degrees and we knew that winter was coming, Mommy and Grammy decided to take me out for a shopping trip to find some special new shoes for me. I am walking pretty well now, in fact going every  where as fast as I could go, and mommy wanted to wait on the shoes until I was walking well. Anyway, off we went to STRIDE RIGHT to get the same kind of shoes that my mommy got when she was a little girl.  Of course, I found these really cute red slippers first, and although I pointed them out to everyone, they went straight to the toddler shoes. Mommy had forgotten how little girls curl up their feet as soon as you tried to get  shoes on, and you can see that it wasn't hard for me at all to make it almost impossible to get on the new shoes. finally the lady in the store who puts on baby shoes all day long helped out. There wasn't too much there in my size, but we finally settled on a little light brown pair that  had a velcro fastener which makes it a little bit easier and we took them home for me to get used to. Not sure if  I like wearing shoes yet or not  but guess I will get used to it in time. Anyway, did have a fun day with mommy and Grammy and went over to the cheesecake factory after our shopping to celebrate my new shoes.

BIG PLANS IN THE WORKS

When Mommy and Daddy began thinking about what to do for my first birthday party, of course Grammy got interested in what she could do to help get ready for my party, since this is a very special birthday.... a FIRST BIRTHDAY.  Anyway, the first thing you know, grammy was out at the paper and hobby store getting some supplies for what she wanted to make for by birthday party invitations.

Doing my cards with quilling sounded like lots of fun, and the first thing you know, Grammy had a huge mess in her dining room planning the cards.  She had lots of fun doing this, and don't think any other little girl has had any party invitations quite like mine.

Less than a month now till my party, so Grammy had better hurry up and get these ready.  It is going to be soooooo much fun!

I AM ELEVEN MONTHS OLD

EVERY MONTH Grammy can hardly believe how much more grown up I am getting, and this month everybody was really amazed about one of the milestones that I reached. Also no one can miss that I am getting cuter and cuter every single day.  On October 5th, before I was even quite 11 months old, grammy came to visit,  and when I saw her come in the door, I let go of the coffee table, and walked several steps toward her all by myself.

Grammy was so excited that she called Grandpa over and I did the same thing for him. Just a few steps but lots of fun and did a good job..... felt very proud of myself, and ended the walk by clapping for myself.

I love coming over to Grammy's house and seeing my little friend, Maggie. My favorite thing to do with Maggie is to grab ahold of her blanket and to play tug of war. Maggie and I both have a lot of fun doing that and I am all smiles when Maggie is around to play with.  It has made mommy and daddy think more than once, against their better judgement, that they will be getting a dog one of these days.

I got a new little truck this month and am learning to drive it . Lots of fun, and I certainly know whose vehicle this is to drive.

It is lots of fun going to the park, and I love swinging on the swing...... smiling all of time!  I also like riding around in the woods in my stroller, and when Grammy drives fast, I say WHEEEE, WHEEEE. Of course Grammy thinks I am very smart.

Walking around with mommy on the playground, and inspecting to see what I can find  ( to put in my mouth especially)  . I still only have my four front teeth, and no sign of any new ones.  I am talking a little more t his month and there are a few words that I am saying some of the time.   I say Hi, and Mama, and Dada, and am doing lots of jargon, trying very hard to tell everybody just what I am thinking. The first thing that you know, I will be having my very first birthday party!  So hard to believe how much fun my first year has been!

MY FIRST MINI HAIRCUT

So today, something very interesting happened. Today, September 18th, 2015, my mommy went to get a haircut at Salon Espirit. Grammy also went along to help watch me, and after Grammy and I went to the grocery on an errand, I came back to the Salon to see how mommies hair was coming along.
I was sitting so still and watching how mommies hair was doing, when all of a sudden, someone noticed that my hair had grown a little and some tiny blond bangs were hanging down in my eyes, so all of a sudden, I was the center of attention.

Miss Yen offered to trim my little bangs and oops, here I am getting a tiny hair trimming.... my very first!

My mommy even helped me hold my head still and all of a sudden, I had a little bit of bangs. Grandma insisted on saving the hair, and she got a piece of foil and put those tiny blond hairs in the foil to save them. Miss Yen was very nice and thought I was the cutest little girl ever! What a fun " girls day out"!
